A Trophy Elk and Friends

Here's a couple of pix I snapped on my way to work the other morning.......These guys will still be growing antler for another 2-3 months, but the one is already a trophy down here:

Just inside the fenceline from the road:

They'd jumped the fence, run across the road right in front of me (I hate that that pic didn't come out), jumped the fence on the other side, and are headed toward the river:

Wish we had mule deer like that size here.........of course, with all the wolves we have, the mule deer are gettin pretty derned skeerce....... :evil:
