Beautiful morning for a ride, no skeeters out yet.

very nice!

The way Tom is riding, he seems like he would be real smooth, quiet,
and good to have around cattle.

Thanks for sharing.

Tell Tom that a fellow Mecate and bosal hand says att'a boy. Great pictures Dylan. I really like how ya do stuff which may mean you should change as what I like usually doesnt work!

What do you mean no skeeters yet.. :???:
We are getting eaten alive here already. I was out fencing and was bitten like crazy, of course forgot to put some bug spray in the quad.

Great pics, love the one of the Kill Deer. We don't see them in our area.

Had an awesome rain early this morn almost 3/4's of a cm.

Thanks every one for your kind comments on the photos, much appreciated

HD, don't worry we have loads of skeeters, cattle have been bunched for the last few days depending on the wind and temp.

What I meant and I guess I should clarify is that at sunrise this morning the skeeters weren't active yet. The night was cool enough and we were out early enough that horse and rider were spared. Thank goodness.

Glad to hear you got some rain.

leanin H, thanks for your comments. I forwarded your message to Tom.

I thought about what you said regarding your success with what you like and as it turns out I like to do stuff the way I do precisely because it works, not because it doesn't, but thanks for the heads up. :-)

Great pictures. It's nice to see straw hats during calving. It was cold enough here yesterday that we needed to wear coats and vests.

Your photos showed peace and tranquility, and those are qualities hard to come by in today's fast-paced world. You are able to portray what ranching is all about. :-)

Hopefully that Beaver puddle is near those pictures with the trees...
Very nice. We have seen our pond with two beavers grow up and down stream to 4 dams with a pair in each. They are pretty neat little animals.
