Ty still has a moose tag and his buddy Cody still had a buck tag so they headed up towards the river this morning. They came upon this big buck in the open pines-Cody didn't anchor him so they had a long track job-they came home and got the little Bravo to skid him out. Life is cruel his left eye is gouged out from fighting and he's got a antler wound deep in his neck. Pretty big 4x4 his main beams go over 25 inches and his G1 on the left side is 12 inches.

They got him in a place I always thought looked 'bucky'. Sure enough they hunted it and it was-kind of a jackpine ridge between a creek and the river.
