checked every fuel line on the tractor found one with a crack, replaced it still had air in the fuel.... took the mat out then a floor plate out... then cut a little square hole over the tank... took out the sending unit... crack right in top, hope part gets here tomorrow.

cut hole in tank to remove sending unit, typical John deere engineering ?
good luck

I thought Jody ran those Blue tractors. :?

it is a the blue tractor, took out a plate but the AC runs thru the floor and rather then drop the fuel tank it was easier to use a little air grider and cut a flap in the bottom of the duct above the sending unit . the top of the duct is covered with a insulation then covered by the big plate the covers the tranny. and to think my college degree is in Mechanical engineering .
Guess everybody know what SAE stands for......

No trouble to speak of since I turned Blue, really like the Green tractors, until I bought parts, and still have a couple John Deere's old machines i use sometimes for raking.
good luck

We had a JD that was 5 years had to replace every fuel line on the machine. When asked JD about it and what kind warranty they had all they could say is we sell you more hose and charge you to install it. Said it wasn't their problem and I told with that type of service you have officially lose a custumer. Good luck you will need it working on a green piece of s***
