ABC NEWS BANS FLAG LAPEL PINS

Barbara Walters said that this was going to hurt ABC badly. As you know, she works for ABC.

YESTERDAY THE BRASS AT ABC NEWS ISSUED ORDERS FORBIDDING REPORTERS TO WEAR LAPEL PIN AMERICAN FLAGS OR OTHER PATRIOTIC INSIGNIA. THEIR REASONING WAS THAT ABC SHOULD REMAIN NEUTRAL ABOUT 'CAUSES'.
SINCE WHEN IS SUPPORT FOR PREVENTING DEATH AND DESTRUCTION SOME SORT OF A 'CAUSE'? SINCE WHEN IS PATRIOTISM TO BE DISCOURAGED?





WE ARE SLOWLY LOSING EVERYTHING OUR COUNTRY STANDS FOR AND EVERYTHING OUR MEN AND WOMEN FOUGHT AND DIED TO PRESERVE! PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO AS MANY AS YOU CAN.

We are rapidly becoming a socialist society imposed on the people by the left wing idiots.

These left wing idiots sold their vote all the while being warned about the direction of this country and the world as a whole. One could say these left wing idiots have their heads in the sand. I truly reject that idea. Its plain and simple for everyone to see they have their heads to far up their asses to even begin to understand the threat we are under.


They think everything anyone else owns or makes is theirs too control and give to others. They are nothing but a bunch of underachievers that think they are owed handouts all the while destroying this countries credit standing

They are enslaving our children and grandchildren with the debt of their socialist programs, and deeding the country as a whole to the rest of the world. ! :mad:

That c.a. is what you folks on the left are creating as well as destroying. :wink:

Actually, if you post something as "verfied through Snopes", you should probably read the verification on Snopes first. According to their explanation, its not just a blatant ban on flag lapel pins by ABC.

when some newscasters and reporters requested the network to back off the ban they didn't in fact they re-iterated their support for the ban despite our nations' troubled time after Sept 11...

it is one thing to say.. we don't want to be biased... it is another to take a leap off the left coast in a decision.. as ABC did.. can't get much more blatant then that..

Pigs can't type, so I doubt Pig Farmer is an actual pig. By his name, I would guess he is a pig farmer. :roll:
 
According to reports Government officials started wearing the flag on their lapel after 911 to show support to those that lost loved ones on that horrid day. It was an ABC reporter that first noiced that Obama had stop wearing the flag on his lapel back during the election and reported that it was a statement on the Iraq war, as in he didn't support it.

Now they are saying their reporters are ban from wearing it. :shock:

What are they saying
1. that they no longer support the families of 911?
2. they support Obama's statement on the Iraq war?
3. they no longer support what the US has turned into under Obama?

Anyone that knew why the government officals started wearing it should be very offend and hurt and I see this being a big mistake for ABC If it is same reason Obama stopped they need to get over it the Iraq war is over and Bush is no longer in Washington and if is the last one well maybe they have a point :wink: but I think it is still going to be bad for ABC but come to think of it can they get any less viewers anyone that cares about a fair and balanced view of the news is watching FOX. :wink:
