It's been awhile since I have been on this site. I finally got caught up with getting calves worked and cows and calves out to grass, corn planted, fence fixin and I am just getting ready to open one of our hay fields for the 1st cutting of hay.
But anyways my question is, does anybody on here own a Zero turn mower? I have been looking into buying one and not quite sure what I like. I thought I would throw out this question to all of you and see if I get any feed back. The ones that I have been looking at are a commercial grade with a 60" or 72" deck and about 25-30 hp. I have looked a Dixie Choppers, Kubota, Hustler, JD, Bush Hog just to name a few. When I started looking I never knew that there where so many of these dang things. It just helps to hear everybody likes and dislikes on equipment it sure helps.

I've been studying the same thing, my current mower is needing fixed more than it's cutting grass. But, I've not taken the time to go to any dealers yet, so I cannot offer much help. From what I've read on various forums, the Scag has seemed to be preferred more than any others, but many are very loyal to their particular brand. Although not as popular, it seems those who have used Grasshoppers, really like them.

What kind of prices are you seeing?

I've got a commercial 72" deck Grasshopper and I LOVE IT! I'll shoot anyone who eveer tries to steal it!!!

I have TONS of mowing to do....like today...i'm in for a break now but it will take me till 5PM to finish.

It's a Zero Turn also.

BEFORE the GrassHopper God brought this one to me....it took me 2 days to cover the same ground.
