Yea, we had OT telling us it was long term deal and would take 2 years to get employment going.......................WELL? At what cost per job?????
New Hampshire has been awarded over $1.1 million in stimulus funds for every full-time job funded under the three-year old federal spending program, according to state and federal reports. The influx of federal cash also led to the creation of 56 full-time and 26 part-time positions within New Hampshire government.
According to the federal stimulus reporting website, Recovery.org, New Hampshire has been awarded more than $985.7 million under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), of which $766.5 million had been received as of December 31, 2011. According to quarterly report submitted by project recipients, ARRA has funded enough hours to fill just 845 full-time jobs since the bill's passage.
The Obama Administration predicted that the stimulus package would "create or save" 16,000 jobs in New Hampshire alone, but soon had to abandon that metric.
