new one for us , we took a calf in we branded last Friday but didn't castrate. Its scrotum was as big as a mature bull., The vet sedated the calf a bit, local where she was working. Side of scrotum had hole in it. One big testicle, had to be skinned from the inside of the scrotum, cord was swollen and big too, left it open to help drain, and cut some of the scrotum to help drain too after getting the Hugh testicle out. Figured the other testicle and either been absorbed or had abscessed out thru the open hole. this kind of abscessed testicle was a new one for our vet.
