I almost forgot to mention it-that young bull rider that got hurt in Farmington could feel his toes on Saturday A'M. They were passing the hat at the short go Sat. night most states were giving $100 till Alberta raised the bar to $1,000. The college in Farmington gave him a two year full ride scholarship-the Best Western gave his family two rooms as long as they needed-Fudd Ruckers said they'd keep everybody fed. Not sure the total but I bet they raised 20,000 plus at that perf. Pretty emotional deal all around but rodeo people try to take care of their own. I saw the wreck happen not much the bull fighters could of done different. The pickup men would of been ok if they'd of fired the third one-he was useless as tits on a hen. Ty buggered up his collerbone trying to get off his first horse with him-I never seen a grown man miss so many loops and get in the way in my life.

The oil money is there to be spent, don't do much good sitting in a "Chock FUll O' Nuts" can in the cupboard.

Your tale of the useless pick-up man reminds me of ours that took a spill and broke his arm there Saturday night. I should find out what ever happened after his surgeries were through.
