Turkey Track and I have a standing joke about a bag of Alfalfa Cubes I scooped him on at a silent auction at a stock growers meeting, supper and dance a few years back. This morning I see Peavey Mart has them on at $10.99 for 25/kg=55lbs. Heck I think I paid $21.50 for the bag.

Who got the last laugh?

you still got the dael, I got stuck buying a book at a live auction thought it bring $100 I bid $90, it got sent off and singed it was a biogahy it was singed by the person it was about to me.... looked it up the other day that booked singed is worth over $400 now :D some time you just fall into it....

The worst thing about that is i had to drive 45 miles to town to get some, and you didn't even use the ones you bought. So maybe next year you could own a DU thermometer. Just kidding, maybe.

   Seems like everybody has to "Own" a Ducks Unlimited thermometer.

For at least a year.

I think somebody else is in line to "Own it" before me. :D

we are going to the quail banquet in a week or so, kids are all excited to "win" a shotgun, they have no idea how much dad and grandpa have spent for the opportunity to "win"

I won a drawing once. A bunch of us waited to see if we were drawn. I was a lucky winner just like the other eleven who got to sit on the jury

I "won" a lottery one time. My birthday number was 119, and Uncle Sam was calling everyone with a number less than 125. My contribution was six years with the Army National Guard.

She didnt want to trade! She did offer to sell me the blocks for $10 a piece. :???: The ag store has them for $6. But we worked it out. She wears "my" shirt and kept the mineral blocks too. :D
