That will be good. We're looking forward to seeing those pretty Oregon pictures. :-)

So Nicky have you noticed the internet being any faster? I have Wildblue and I swear it's getting bout as slow as dialup somedays!
Can you get Verizon out there? The last I heard they need to update the tower south of Nenzel, before we can get it. And yes our Wildblue just keeps getting slower and slower.

:agree: :x

we are supposed to be getting high-speed fairly soon i think. the lines have been dug in, all the way to the house since August. i have heard some are getting connected now, i hope we are getting close. this wild blue is getting worse everyday and it didn't start out that good to begin with.

I think it's faster, more so sometimes than others. According to speedmatters.org it is quite abit faster. If I get around to uploading pictures that will tell alot.

George's verizon dsl sounds interesting...but 4G isn't even available here yet.

This verizon DSL is not 4 G it is the same old system from about 4 years ago when my daughter tried to get me to change but I was to stuborn!

Now I take my laptop in the equipment and surf the web on an as wanted basis.

My daughter and wife surf all the way to Ithica NY or Ft Drum FL and rarly drop!

I did not want to pay $59.00 per month but the land line phone was $58.00 per month + $19.95 for dial up = = I ported the land line number to an extra cell for $9.95 and shut off the landline and dial up. Just about a break even!
