Gulchrider here; Born in the near-central portion of North Dakota. To farming/ranching parents. We left the farm when I was sixteen years old moving into a town of some fifteen-thousand residents. Though my home and body are in town, my heart still lives out on the prairies. I drive dumptrucks now. I'm married for fifteen years.
Just thought you'd like to know who this newcomer is. Sometimes I post regularly, other times, you won't hear from me for days. Just depens on what trips my trigger.
I've enjoyed reading you folks from the sidelines for awhile. I can sure-as-heck relate to your ranching subjects here.

Another from the Dakotas? We ought to take a poll- seems like you are over represented! Welcome anyway.

Yeah, well, the Dakotas should be well-represented somewhere. Sure ain't in the news much, unless there's a snowstorm of gargantuan proportions. It's home to me.

welcome aboard, gulchrider!! My dad was born and raised in Tioga, North Dakota and just moved back there about a year and a half ago due to health reasons!! Nice little town with really good folks who reside there...could easily get used to those folks!! :D :D

Welcome to the posts Gulchrider! Once a year we go back to ND where my wifes from. We hit Bismarck and go on across to Casselton. When we come back we always stop for Breakfast at Jamestown.(Can't beat the muffins at Perkins) I just like the atmosphere and the people, got a nice farm-ranch attitude. If you're anything like the folks I've met around there, I like you already. Have fun! :D :D
