I was riding through my cows by the highway one january when I noticed an early calver. Well the calf was coming backwards so I roped the old gal, tied hard and fast, dismounted and set in to trying to help that calf out. After gettin no were fast I decided I needed some help so I flagged down a car on the highway. The fella that pulled over was a travelling salesman and he said he would be happy to help. The extra pair of hands did the trick and we got that calf out alright. I got my rope off the cow and she went to lickin on her new one. I was down right thank full for the help I received so I asked the salesman what I could do to repay him. He said "Just tell me how fast was that calf going when he hit that cow?"
