Its been a very busy year and I have been wanting to give a little update.

Couldnt decide which one I like better

Alison and her favorite partner. This was taken just a month after her surgery.

Just a little horse ride near the beach in January!

2 yr old heifers, just starting to feed them about Christmass time

cows worked hard this past summer

SMN 9042 Mackintosh 1251 sired by Macintosh 0232

Bull 1274 sired by 0709
Really good feed conversion and ADG and RFI on these two bulls

And a new bull purchase. 75 lb bw with a -.1 BW epd behind him so he should be a great heifer bull. I like the fertility behind him. The 5 generations of cows behind him have raised 49 natural calves with 3 of them including his mother are Dams of Distinction.

I have some more pics, but having troulbe uploading them so maybe later I can put a few more on if anyone likes them :)

I like em. Nice cattle! The polled hereford in the picture looks just like our
daughters 4-H heifer/cow from many moons ago. Brings back memories, for sure!

I like those bulls too. Bet they sire some great babies. Your young heifers
are very, very nice looking. You should feel proud. Are you the one that picks
the bulls?

Thanks for sharing.

Been wondering about you and yours SMN. Glad you gave us an update, don't keep us in suspense so long now.

I like your new heifer bull and the rest look great!

Alison is doing well. She grew over 2 inches in the 7 months post transplant and had a great summer. She finished school with her class, tuned up her horse and received a purple at the state 4-H horse show on her pole bending. She did well in the playdays with her horse and played volleyball this past fall but had a setback after volleyball season when she dislocated her knee cap and had to have surgery the end of Nov. It slowed her down a lot but has recovered and is looking forward to summer already.

She received a Make A Wish trip and flew to Hawaii and rode horse in Hawaii this past Janurary.

Yes, Faster Horses, I make all the breeding decisions and bull purchases here.
