We get a couple extra weeks on the forest. Problem has been hunter leaving gates open and some even chasing cows down. Well today our range rider and a crew of 3 young boys, the other 2 permittees a couple other rides and Tenny went to push cows and calves back up higher on the forest. One of the permittees cut 4 of his bulls back to bring on out. Well they come back and one bull (the Hereford) would not cooperate, well a couple ropes got thrown around his horns but they couldn't get him with the other bulls. So they cut one bull back chase the other 3 out of the forest and down the road and worked them into the back of a trailer parked next to the fence. The bull got hauled home and the trailer came back with a couple fresh big horses. There only 7 riders now they get up to where the roped bull was only in time too seems him 3 miles away high tailing it to where the cows had been moved. Too make a long story shore they got 3 more ropes on the horns and 5 horses tried to pull while 2 tried to drive this bull the other little one just fallows . Took 3 hours to move the bull a ¼ mile most of it in just a few minutes when the bull went down and they could drag him. Clyde (one of the permittees) and I got cell phone calls and drove a truck and trailer up thru the dry farms next to a forest corner. We run the ropes up inside the trailer got the bull off his back and pulled him in. tied him in front and chased the other bull in after backing the trailer next to the fence. With the help of golf we hooked the ropes off the mad fighting bull and pulled them out one at a time.

they had a dog helping too. :D
Our range rider is a Pastor, don't know what church. But the 3 young men he had helping him ride are staying with his family… the boys wore homemade clothes, yup they are Amish. Tenny said they where hard to understand.
They didn't get to rope but they helped pull and push.
