This afternoon I drove to the ranch where I've purchased bulls the past several years. There were probably well over a hundred head
to choose from, with one pen suitable to use on heifers and the other pen holding bulls better suited to use on cows. Cost was
$2000 per bull--half down and the other half payable when I go get the bulls in mid May. By then they will be fertility checked, and
the ranch personnel will have them branded for me. I take up an electric iron for them to use. The system has worked well for both
buyer and seller.

I picked ten head out of each pen.

Another cow-type bull. It was cold and windy, so I forgot to take pictures of the bulls to use on heifers.

My grandson doesn't seem too impressed. :?
