That is dr. jim Scott in the background- Dr. Scott is one sgharp cookie and can tell some interesting stories about those 1st Limousins. He used to do the fertility testing at Dylan Biggs Grass Test in Alberta. Yes kiddies Kit is a follower after all lol.

As a very wise gentleman from Meadow Lake, SK once said, "Cory Wilson & I were selling grass-finished beef before Kit Pharo was an expert at anything."

Oh, sorry Northern, did I have your chest puffing up thinking you were the wise gentleman? Tsk, Tsk. :P

Well thats appears to be a pretty fine looking animal, although hiding his feet in the grass makes me a little suspicious.
Lotsa ribeye and loin in those animals.

The bull in the picture is Prince Pompadour with a young Dr. Jim Scott. Prince Pompadour came ashore at Rimouski, Quebec in the summer of 1968.

In 1968 each NALF (North American Limousin Foundation) founding member was entitled to 40 ampules of semen from Prince Pompadour NIM 1 (NALF Import Male number one).

Prince Pompadour sired over 60,000 calves in North America.
