Ok, here's another slant...My Soapbox....
I watch Ford shut down plants. I hear forever that new fuels and vehicles that run them don't come to market becasue auto industry is tied to Gas companies. i never paid much attention to this because There's no rela proof. Ford's failure would seem to dsprove...
I don't feel one bit sorry for Ford. They just don't get it......I have been a Ford guy, but next one won't be. The 6 litre is a piece of junk......
I drive 50-60,000 miles a year and need a pickup, but really don't need to haul heavy loads. Look at all the vaccine reps, Parts runners ect.......What would be an ideal pickup?????Lets try a small block diesel in a heavy half ton...Maybe a 6 cylynder....thirty miles to the gallon and an engine that will go 500,000 miles.....And is likely to be compatable/adaptable to Bio-fuels.....
Guess what? Toyota and Nissan are on it.....They know more about the driving needs of me and a bunch of similar guys than the Big Three. I would buy American (or should I say North American), but the guys in charge don't seem to have any connection with the market,
Well nuff said, feels better to get it out
