Yep, supposed to come in Saturday night through Sunday, possibly another foot. The green grass is going to be great if it ever warms up! :D I'm starting to see some colicky calves, and hearing some coughs... trying to come up with a plan for treating them which doesn't involve much wrestling... they're beyond using the calf hook . May go with the roping/drive over slack with a wheel plan .

I've talked to several grumpy people the last couple days. I don't think I'll want to talk to any ranchers (nobody will want to be around me either) after this one. With a little luck, we might just skirt the edge of this one though. I don't know what to do to prepare any more. All the protected areas are either snow drifts or muck.

That's terrible Richard, I'm sorry to hear it :???:.

I feel your pain Richard. There is only so much bedding you can put down when an hour later its a mud hole again. I have to feed early in the morning when its a little frozen or the tractor will sink up to the axles. I have ruts in the hay yard 2 feet deep. Don't know what I will do when it doesn't freeze at night anymore. We are expected to get 4 to 6 inches out of this one with the worst of it going south of us. Good luck .

Just turn them out on the neighbor's pasture 8) 8) 8)
I just looked at the weather and for Pennington it is a winter storm warning but for Haakon it is a %$#@& blizzard warning!
At least with Prom on Saturday we won't have to worry about any sleep, but Sunday morning feels like a long time from now!
