Another Winter Storm...

It rained here all day yesterday and we ended up with .30! :D That's what us desert dwellers consider a nice spring storm! :D And we got up this mornin' to 2 inches of a white, fluffy substance that looks suspiciously like snow! :lol: Other than a calf with scours it is great around here! :D
 
Yep- same here...Ended up with 1/2 an inch down here on the river- and .8 of an inch at the north place where the summer pasture is...

Supposed to be 60-70 degrees for the next week- and the grass should just shoot out of the ground :D :D
 
We sure could use rain,pretty darn dry. Greg's been out firefighting the last two days..Grassfires. Three fire departments trying to contain the fire.... :(
 
When you are done with the rain you need Mrs Greg,can you please send the rest of it our way!! I would even settle for snow :) .
 
It snowed about two feet last night, and is still coming down hard. My biggest problem is that I woke to the smell of propane in the house (at least I woke up :shock: )... my furnace vent is buried. Gotta climb onto the roof and shovel it clean... I hate heights, but at least if I fall off, I've got enough snow to break my landing :? :lol:.
 
The snow stopped last night here in Thermop...not even any drizzle outside...looks like 50's and 60's for the next few days ? ? ?

Started snowing here at 7:00 this morning, by noon it piled up to 16". It's stopped now but the wind is blowin' from the north. Supposed to close in again and snow another foot tonight. :roll:

Should make the grass come , hope the scours leave you alone.

Now the electronic ignition on my furnace won't light. I re-set it, but still no luck :? . I'm sure some snow got knocked down into the vent when I was cleaning it off. Any furnace experts out there?

Maybe...maybe not :wink: :lol:.

I just HATE it when things don't work like they should :x. The way this day is going, I'll probably burn the house down next... actually I can't complain since this day could've turned out much worse :shock:.

Glad you are still here to tell us about the storm and to post pictures. Carbon monoxide is nothing to mess with.
 
So do you have any heat in your house? just remember all that snow is "White Gold"..... Ellie Mae!!! :P
