Any new songs you love?

This is probably my all time favorite, Don sings so effortlessly.

Where Corn Don't Grow by either Waylon or Travis is a good song also.

I saw Ian with the Calgary Philharmonic about a year and a half ago. His voice was on its way out then. The conductor was a french guy from Quebec. There were several humorous exchanges in both languages. Might need to be Canadian to understand that. Ian is the poster boy for western redneckness. His ranch is just down the road from ours.

If we are going back aways in music I still think George Straight is awesome. Plus he still dresses like a cowboy should.

Back in the day, if you got drunk enuff, Ivan Daines sounded pretty good.

For those not faint of heart, check out what the Dead Kennedys have on youtube.

George Thorogood is still pretty hard to beat. One bourbon, one Scotch, and one beer!

We have some really awesome country music talent in AB..... Ivan ain't
one of them :wink: {some good songs though but he shouldn't sing them}

:agree: with Mrs. Greg!!
There is no way anyone could get drunk enough to listen to Ivan!! :gag: :gag: :gag:

Ian's Yellowhead to Yellowstone CD was a shock to hear his "new" voice, but it grows on you. I'm used to it now and quite like it. :)
