We leave tomorrow evening, or at 3 in the AM. Any tips are greatly appreciated, cause I want dad to get his first elk.... we can moose hunt at the same time, and its in a CWD area so we can hunt whitetails and mule deer. It is on the forest firnge.

Have a good one

Our neighbor got a 400 plus bull down there this fall. I'm ready to hang some moose hunters up here road hunting hayfields looking for whities just because they're packing a moose tag. A truck full of them messed up Ty rattling in a buck tonight-not a good scene.

Speaking of elk, there were 4 bulls out in the close hay pasture this morning when I was helping feed the cows, and I don't have a bull tag...but I think I am going to finally go hunting this afternoon and maybe get a cow or at least an antelope. NR don't give me crap about this one...I will get an elk (even tho its antlerless lol)!!

Cow elk are far better eating anyway. Look for a nice big fat one, cause their most likely the dry cows. Horns might look nice on the wall, but cow elk taste better on the plate!

NR, I bought a Golden Eagle Sparrowhawk, pretty nice looking, haven't gotten to use it yet, won't actually hunt with it till next year tho. I also bought sw a Matthews for his birthday :D

NR, were heading to your country tomorrow AM, I have a moose tag, and I need to use the second whitey tag here, cause I cant at home. Check your PM's.

We diddnt get anything besides a coyote (me) and a grouse (me).

Hope we can shoot something tomorrow, I get to fill my antlerless tag too.

I dont care if I shoot anything, its a bonus, but if you go out to kll something, youre a murderer, but if you go out to have fun, enjoy the outdoors and make memories youre a hunter.
