That Per has been very quiet? :?

I heard that barley is worth a penny for every ten kernels.

Do you suppose Ol' Per is counting grains or standing armed guard at the bins? :P

Hope you're just busy and things are OK at the Box R. :D

Probably just too many distractions living in that civilized area unlike you and me out here is that sticks. Well more sticks in your area.

Maybe he was out playing snow golf and got lost in a blizzard?

Just been busy with the stress of raising kids in a civilized area. :? Thankfully my operation runs pretty smooth without me. I wish I lived in the sticks. Crop is off, calves are home, young cows are grazing at the neighbors and cows are at the west ranch. Drove to the airport in Calgary this morning to send a daughter to Ottawa to schmooze with the Supreme Court Lawyers and check out the halls of power at the Parliament. Deerfoot was wet and slushy in the low spots near the river and snowy and icy away from the river. A bit of a ground blizzard hampering visibility as well as bright sun in your eyes from above. Don't have to wait 5 minutes in Calgary, it can all happen at once. I'll get my head back in the game soon, thanks for noticing.

Kids get some pretty great opportunities these day to travel. My oldest went to the Terry Fox Center in Ottawa when she was in grade 11 and my son got to go to the SRM convention in Casper when he was a senior.

If you had started earlier you'd be done with that stuff by now. :D

Glad something is keeping you busy.
