AP Top 25 By Conference

In all truthfulness, the sec having half the teams in the championship hunt isn't well illustrated by a top 25 poll. Half the teams in the top 25 wouldn't be bowl eligible if they played in the sec.

Did you stay up and watch the Pokes Jody? I packed it in at the half at midnight. Pokes were finally making nice tackles instead of hitting high, bouncing off and falling down like they did last year.

You play who you're scheduled to play. Kinda funny that the LSU HC's kid will probably be headed to Lincoln.

Wouldn't doubt it. Les Miles knows he'll never get to play at LSU. Especially if Miles is gone next year...............................

Maybe he just wants to get away from the corruption of the $EC. He probably also figures that no matter how good he is, there would always be the contingent that imagines that the only reason he was playing was because he was Daddy's little boy.

He'll get a fair shot in Lincoln. He'll make the cut if he earns it, not because of who his Daddy is.

Hard to choose what tickles me more....proving Kirk Herbdouche wrong every week, being ranked in the top 15 with a good chance of moving up, watching the $EC's downward spiral, hearing an $EC mouthpiece declare that at least for now, the B1G is THE conference in college football, or Tommy Armstrong beginning to reach his potential and be recognized for it.

I'm proud of the Huskers too. With all those ranked teams they've beaten, they should be in the Top 5 and may get a place in the Playoffs with so many more Powerhouses to play.

Being realistic. You only have two teams on the entire schedule.

We sent one ranked team back west with a loss, just like your beloved Kitty Cats did. Makes a big difference when the ghost of a former HC isn't whispering in the ears of players. The coaching staff isn't trying to put round pegs in square holes anymore, and the roster has bought into Riley's program 100%. More recruiting has happened under Riley this past year than Bo ever tried to accomplish during his entire tenure. The B1G is on a roll.

Oregon has it's worst team in many, many years. they even lost to the mighty Colorado Buffaloes.

You'd better grab Les Miles while you can. He has a winning record...................................

Colorado isn't as bad as you might think. And the Oregon QB could be a force to be reckoned with, if he had some help.

I don't see Riley headed elsewhere for employment anytime soon. Maybe Kansas State could replace the Crypt Keeper with Miles....assuming there even will be a Big XII in a year or two.

Don't you worry your little head about paying off Bo. The University can afford it....it's turning out to be the best money they EVER spent.
