This was my reply:

"Hello M.Gravlee: I didn't think it was an ad..sorry. Last year I posted a notice of the auction
so I again thought it was an event of public notice that might interest some of the readers
of the forum. I have many of their private email addresses, so I will just use those in
the future. No offence intended!
Best Regards,

Then I tried to post a message on the board to apologize to all for
the notice of the auction...but found I was barred from posting.
However, now it appears that I have been reinstated to the
community!! Yippee!

So: sorry  about the auction notice - I really did not expect any of
the regulars here to be interested in buying Murray Grey cattle
or genetics; but I did think some might be interested in the software
that I am using, i.e. may want to set up something similar for your
breed. Please feel free to email me if you are interested in
the subject.

There's probably no rule against posting auction results. Our
Murray Grey auction ended Tues evening, Oct 18th.

The weaned open heifers averaged $2193. each(low was $950
and high was $3010.)

Bred heifers averaged $2825.00(low $1400 and high $3025.)
Bred cow: $3,355.
3-in-1(10 yr old bred cow with 7 mo heifer by side): $3,500
embryos: $400 each

Bulls did not sell as well, most folks want the females.
1 bull weaned calf: 1,000
1 bull weaned calf: 1.700
1 bull weaned calf: 700

semen packages did not sell.

OK Jeanne
