After we branded Tuesday morning, I went to look at yearling heifers at one of the ranches that are wintering them for us. This is also
when I pay the monthly feed bill in advance.

And did a marvelous job

At the Black Ranches Nine Iron bull sale on April 4th

Nice bulls, shown mostly four at a time out of the same sire. The high bidder could take choice, or pay the same price as deep as they
wanted to go on the four. If only one was taken, the bidding would start again. It didn't take too long to sell almost 150 bulls.

Along with about 175 open yearling heifers

A very nice sale facility

Nineteen horses were auctioned after the cattle had sold.

What caught my eye as awesome was the young girl on the young horse.
She's done a fine job, seems to me.
