Aren't they cute???

They know they are mates for life. It"s amazing that they know this.

what a pair, Hanta! if i didn't already have a GSD pup reserved out of a litter next year, i'd want to put my name in the hat for one out of those two :( but 2 GSD and a Dobe are about all i can afford at once :)

i've always wanted a tri-color Corgi.....maybe in the future

Only if if she wants her ears pulled on and to get sat on by him.. Seems to be his preferred method of playing with dogs.. He is just luck his home dogs are all real laid back about kids doing that. 4 of them have a good excuse for it as they were raised with little tykes but the other 3... Must be in their nature.

Cute picture, Hanta Yo. It's almost as if their love for each other is sealed by a "wetting ring." :-)

Soap, you are so good with the words!!!

These two are inseparable, (they have their squabbles as man-and-wife and it is soooooo funny to watch) and the sweet things they do for each other.....I think I can learn from them.....

They play, bite and lick each other's faces....Joey will chase Katie full board and bite her tail. When one or the other feels like they've had enough play, they start getting pretty rough with each other...have to break it up sometimes. She's in season now, and standing and they are driving me batty  They are used to being together 24/7, now we keep them apart until she's over this. All they do is whine

i kinda feel like i'm meeting up witha bunch of old friends here.

HOW ARE YA HANTA!!??? i need some more rhubarb starts, sorry to say--but only if you let me know what it costs to ship 'em. you'd think they'd be easier to start, but i swan..any tips for a good spot??....

i love corgi's as long as they're someone else's (did i ever tell ya the first dog that ever bit me was my parents' corgi?? the little napoleon..)--and i helped train the little short-legged B-------.

i'll post some pics of my "Boy" just so you all can see him in a separate thread. he's a good 'un (and at least i understand how he looks at the world of ppl and dogs....)

I'm good Chuckie!!!! Sure, can send some starts, sorry the other ones didn't "take". They can grow like weeds around here....same as horseradish. Will let you know :) I commented on your post of your G.S. nice looking dog! :D

On Dr. Phil this morning, was a woman whose daughter was getting married. The mother wanted to send shower invitations FROM THE DOG AS HOSTESS of the event. The daughter was protesting. This woman was plumb wacko over her dog. She really thought it was a person. Dr. Phil told her that the dog wasn't a person and SHE wasn't a dog.

This woman fed the dog off her own fork. Dr. Phil questioned that and she said "people feed their kids off their own fork"...to which Dr. Phil replied, "but kids don't like their butts"... :P
(of course the woman said that "HER DOG DIDN'T DO THAT. She just didn't do doggy things." :P

I like/love dogs as much as anyone--but there is a place to draw the line.

and that's the kind of dog that'll end up biting the face off some poor little kid.

the problem isn't the dogs--it's their owners that think a dog is some kind of 4-legged human (that licks it's butt!! :) :) )

The first dog that ever bit me, I was 8 years old and the neighbor's German Shepherd grabbed my forearm and bit me quite good...I can still see the scars, believe it or not. I guess we all have bad experiences with different dogs. It's really hard to trust the breed again, even though there are nice ones out there....so I know where you are coming from.

I took the census in 1970 in SE Wyoming. I met many dogs going around to all those ranches. The dog that bit me? A dauchshund!!!

My Dad's dauchshud is an ornery little burger to people who drive in. It's kinda humerous to watch great big men shake by some little wiener.
