Asking for some prayer help.

What a wonderful little girl and looking plenty spunky. We'll keep praying.

An Update
From Jodi December 16, 2007 at 02:28 PM MST
Hanna had got her Tube out, but was having a difficult time being able to breathe on her own...so as a result they put it right back in again...They say her lungs still need the ventalator to allow her to get enough air. so now it is just a waiting Game....They are sending her for more tests tomorrow to figure out why she has sooo much fluid on her lungs and why the lung collapsed when the tube is out. Also Hanna was complaining of stomach being sore and that is why she couldnt cough, which would clear her lungs...Good news/Bad news as the insecion is below the mark of where she Can & Cant feel. So the fact that it hurts is a good sign.

I have typed so many responses and keep erasing them. Just don't know what to say other than............. Our prayers are with you

:( Not great last few days...tried to take her respirator off but lung kept collapsing, today the decieded the tubes were causing the pnuemonia,so they're going to take them out and traik her so she can talk, she wants to so badly. Theres some damage on the spine by the neck that the Dr. thinks is swelling and temporary but thats also causing the lung collapsing,we're praying even harder.

I'm updating because I'm being asked to if this is bothering any of you please let me know and I'll pm the ones asking...thx

I also don't know what to say..not good at this stuff.............

....did I miss where to send cards or should I pm for that?

I'd like to do somethin for her.................

Hooks...I'm not sure exactly where cards should be sent....to thier home or the hospital...I'll look into it

If one wants they can sign into www.carepages.com...then go to Hanna Chilson theres a message board, the thing is real names are used.

Well our little lady got her trach yesterday, shes doing pretty good with it in.Not talking yet but shes getting demanding so thats our Hanna coming back :cry2: :cry2:

Dr. Anderson from the Glenrose came to the Stollery the other day and visited with Hanna and Jodi, they both liked him. He said hes going to help make Hanna as independent as possible and that things look promicing, she'll move over there after shes more stable, shes still in intensive care.

Her Gramma and Grampa{gregs bro} were up today and told her they're spending Xmas day with her....guess she gave them the BIGGEST smile.

Its funny how special "Little Triumph's" become
