I listened to it on the radio while cutting up okra. :wink: It was either a real good defensive game or a very sorry offensive game sounded like to me.

I was pretty proud of the way AU held one of the top rushing teams, Ark., to 67 rushing yards.

I'll take a good "D" over offense any day.

You shoulda seen all the "Houston, We Have A Problem" T-shirts in the stands.

I agree Mike. Your defense played well it sounded like. Our backs are really fantastic. The o-line lost three starters last year it seems like I remember. Anyway it takes more than fantastic tailbacks to win games. How was the play calling on Arkansas part? Too predictable?

That's what I thought. Pull the stops out and they score in 8 or 10 plays. Other than that it was run between the tackles and pass to the flats on 3rd and 5 or more. Boring football.

Nutt knew that AU had a lot of hurt defensive players and his game plan was the same as AU's...........Wear the defense down.

Ark has a good running game. I don't blame the play calling, after all, dance with the one that brung ya'.

I wouldn't have called a big aerial assault if I were Ark. either. The Dick boy is still inexperienced.

What I noticed was that they had no mis-direction plays and no pass action. They were relying on speed to get to the outside and strength to go up the middle.
