Heard on the radio Obama administration will close all livestock yards in May to make up a higher demand for beef and meat products for the upcoming summer grilling season. Ag Secretary Vlisak said it was our portion of the stimulus package.

They just have their dirty little paws in everything. Sorry, but I don't want the government messing in our buisness. Their track record sucks.

I wonder who came up with this bright idea. One of the things we've tried to be good at, as an industry--is timely marketing.
Wonder what they think is going to happen to the fat cattle that are ready to go to town? Ya, they put a lot of thought into this.

FH, do you think it possibly might not be coincidence that they chose to make this announcement on April 1?

Nope, I didn't consider that. I don't think it is one bit funny, either.

Thanks, John, you might be right, I don't put anything past this Obama administration, tho. Every day it's another right we lose.

We can all thank the bleeding heart liberals for him. I wonder who in thier right mind would have voted for him..

Our two local newspapers had articles about Seattle giving us the SpaceNeedle which the county was going to spend a few million $ to move here in one piece for a tourist site  --and the others headlines were about all the UFO Flying Saucers being spotted over the old Air Force Base  ---
But you wouldn't believe the number of these conspiracy/wingnut folks that bought right into it- and were buying right into it because it was printed in the paper...    :P

Funny :) Mike tried to tell me that he called the baler salesman and changed our order to a Hesston 3X3 baler...I didn't fall for it :)

You have to be the most gullible person on here. You will believe anything negative there is if it can be tied to the Obama administration.
