Moving some cattle to a different pasture

Over the hill they go

Yellowstone is sporting his maintenance-free mane.

The country is still pretty green for August

And that doesn't count the seven tenths of an inch that was yet to come.

Going down

Peach on her pony

And her old fat hubby on his

Even though this is a caterpillar

It is colored more like a John Deere

It could even pass for a green submarine

First fall calf of the season. Due date for calving to start was August 10th, and it came on August 10th.

Clouds are prettier looking to the southeast

This almost looks like tornadic activity.

That is the great part about the internet. We can look at great pics of various areas and be glad when someone at least is getting the needed production and let our minds drift away from our own problems. I always wanted a ranch in Nebraska but because of Soap and Jassy and others, a virtual ranch is provided without having to leave my office. Great shots as usual Soapweed.
