I am having severe chest pains.

I thought this might be the last picture ever taken of me alive, and was sure wishing I'd worn a better hat.

And I thought this might be the last picture I ever took. I told the Kosmo Kid and Sunflower, that if death caught up to me not to worry.
It was a beautiful morning, I was doing what I like to do, my peace was made with God, and my boots were on my feet. What better
way to go out? Long story short: I went to the Gordon Hospital emergency room Saturday afternoon. They flew me to the Rapid City
hospital Saturday evening. Early Sunday afternoon, Dr. Durr and his associates operated and put a stent in my L.A.D. artery
through a little bitty hole in my wrist. After staying in the hospital Sunday evening for observation, I was dismissed Monday at noon.
I felt fine immediately after the operation, and now life is pretty much back to normal. It always impresses me as to all of the great
people involved in the medical profession, in all of the area hospitals, and their high degree of competency. We are truly blessed.

It's wonderful to be back being a grandpa. Here are my little twin buddies.

You might be one of the few people who would take a picture of themselves having chest pains! I can't believe how green it is there, and your 'rough country' doesn't look to rough to us :wink: Congrats on the new grandbaby!

I thought this might be the last picture of me, but instead it turned out to be the last picture ever taken of my dad. He seemed healthy and his usual self that evening, but died in the hospital just nine days later.

AHHH. Really? Only nine days. He does look fit as a fiddle in these pictures.
Goes to show we never know when the end will come. And it's probably a
real good thing.
