At the Central States Fair in Rapid City, South Dakota

The Republican booth at the Fair had nice informed representatives.

Other knowledgeable people were manning a booth comparing Creation and Evolution.

However, in the Democratic booth the lights were on but nobody was home. I don't think they wanted to face any music
that they didn't know the tune to. :wink:

Yes, Fred got a big hearty Black Hills welcome but had bad luck and missed his calf. It seemed like all night at the rodeo, the bigger the build-up by the announcer the worse luck the contestant would have.

I love the Central States Fair!!! Last year the whole south side of rapid had an electrical outage.... Shut everything down but the beer garden..... It was a hoot listening to the band. I listened in my trailier to the song Put your right foot here put your left foot here.... I've never made it over there, but someday I will...
