It should be a good game, both teams are off to a good start this year. The Av's finally have what they've needed since Patrick Roy retired...and that's goal tending.

We shutout the Oilers last night...time to knock off another team from the frozen north. :lol:

BTW haven't seen Yanuck doin much braggin on her Maple Leafs this season :P :P

It's a final - Avalanche 3 Flames 2. I usually catch these games on the Altitude Network, but they're showing the Denver Nuggets instead. :gag: :gag: :mad: Good thing for NHL.com

Way to go Avs! Unless they are on Versus I never get to see them play. It's all about the T-Wolves and Wild up here. Hopefully they can keep this going! I have not been to many sporting events (other than rodeos,) however, by far and away, the most fun is an Avs game... :lol: :nod: Actually Bismarck has a junior team, and their games are pretty fun too. We haven't been in a long time though.

I love basketball...but the NBA makes me want to puke...what a bunch of dinks, slobs, pukes, whatever you want to call them. Actually, I just came up with it, thugs. The NBA has ruined basketball in my opinion. And, through it's slimy fingers, I think it is starting to ruin my favorite, college basketball too. :mad:

So Triangle Bar, are you a Broncos fan too? Will they be undefeated after Sunday? I sure hope so! I committed the most holy of sins when I got married...lazy ace is a Raiders fan :roll: :help: :gag: I am so surprise my folks/family even accept him. :lol2:

One thing about the Leafs you don't have to miss a tee off time to watch them in the playoffs-Brian Burke is a frickin' joke-fire his arrogant ash would be a good start. They need less Europeans and more guys like Gilmour and Clark the last time they had a good team. If they're lucky they'll draft Brayden Schenn Luke's little bro-he's the real deal. Emily's AA coach is an ex Leaf but he played for the Oilers too so I forgave him lol-grwat coach our kids are lucky to have him.

Hey watch it there chappie, I almost missed this thread. Yeah I heard the Leafs are in the tank.

But I have a different gripe. I have not watched or followed one game of hockey this year and will not watch one game as my own little protest against the crap that Bettman is churning out against another team moving to Canada. Who does he think he is? Bill Bullard?

I hope that arrogant arse is aptly rewarded for his pains. And I believe that it is because Toronto does not want another franchise is their back yard.

So I'm done with it - win or lose. I am getting sick of pro sports no matter what the title. But I will have a hard time giving up baseball. I had to close out following the sad season of the Jays pretty well down to their last sad losing game . . . . :?

Hey TTB, I'm not a real big Broncos fan but I do end up watchin' most of their games. My Bro in-law is a raving maniac when it comes to the Broncos...he has his weekly rituals, he insists on eating the same thing on Football Sunday, and he's got this Broncos pillow he's alternately hitting or drooling on during a game. I keep telling my sis she ought to have him committed. :lol:

Well you bring out a good point. I meant that I will not watch any NHL hockey. I do enjoy other levels of hockey and some of the best hockey I've watched is OHL or university leagues.
