Well, all be! He built my last saddle. I was just thinking this afternoon about having him do a little work on the ground seat. That is sad news. He was in Ekalaka when he built my saddle. He has been in MC since then right?
Quite the old fellow. I was in there 2 years ago while delivering a horse that went on to Billings for the Black Horse Patrol. Had a good visit bought a nice a pair of reins and a piece of stirrup leather to fix my daughters saddle for Breakaway stirrups. John and the fellow working with him were quite interested in the STI breakaways. He sure did nice work.
