Bale spinners

I feed mostly grass hay and it spins off really good and can make a long windrow or make a bed ground.
only problem I really had is with alfalfa that was baled a little green, I'll bounce them, back up with them rubbibg on the ground, or even use a old hay saw on them to get them to come apart.

jody......what do you when the bale gets small and the prongs hold it together
usually mine will spin it off when I speed up the the motor. f it is just asmall foot core I'll pull it off by hand, usually just heading back to the stack across the feed ground with it spinning it will come off for me. one thing that might help is to spear just a couple inches off center.

Well Gcreek, I'm gonna tackle building one of those. Start by gathering some materials today and getting some parts chopped and holes punched in them for the hinges and stuff

Looks like about 3" or 4" square tube?

It is 3 inch with 1/4 wall. The center lever is the tricky part but it needs to be 1 inch T1 or tougher. We did have a chunk of grader blade in there that lasted a long time. I can measure some more pieces as you need them.
