Barrel Horses for Sale?

I have a friend whose granddaughter (10 years old) needs a new barrel racing horse. She's doing quite well, but her horse is sick, so needs another to finish out this year on.

Anyone know of any? Thanks!

Can't say that I can help in your area. But round here the best way to find a barrel horse for a kid of that age, is to go to the local barrel races, or where ever it is she rides, and ask around. Usually someone somewhere has a decent barrel horse that one of their kids has riden in the past. Moved up to a faster horse or what not. Depending on what speed she's ready for ya gotta really be careful puttin a kid on a barrel horse. Them "automatics" can be more than they can handle. Ask around with people you trust.

Come to central or south texas, where it never rains and hay is 75.00 a roll. Horses are getting so cheap its sick. I saw four good ranch geldings sell at the taylor texas sale for under 400.00. I could afford to buy em but not feed em.
