my football and basketball smack are the same... NU sucks, and I hate KU.....

looks like Wichita State could go pretty deep into the tourney..I expect KU to get a butt load of praise and make a round 2 or 3 exit again.... the Cats are a mystery..... depends on which team shows up. could go far, could lose first round
 
what was the story on that?? I saw my twitter blow up over it, and never looked into it... fan aggravating him? or unprovoked?

I am close to Missouri St so I keep up with what Wichita St does and I enjoy watching them. Even though Creighton jumped ship to the Big Least I enjoy watching them and in my opinion McDermont is the Player of the Year.
 
Ya he's playing big time college bball. Supposed to be a top 5 draft pick and he lets some old man from the stands at Texas tech get under his skins and gives him a big shove. This might cost him a lot of money in the long run. Then after he done it he acted like it wasn't that big of deal. Refusing to go to the locker room a urging with the refs. Seems like this kid can't handle defeat very good. He's been making the headlines for the wrong reasons since osu has been struggling.

He did, and ONLY got a 3 game suspension for it.

Someone tried to bring up the fact that the fan called Smart a n*igger but all of the fans close around him said he did not. The fan did call him a "piece of crap" after the push and voluntarily agreed to not go to a another basketball game this year, either at home or away.

Things have gotten out of hand and this little punishment ain't going to help in the future.........................
 
the NBA is nothing but a thug infested gang bangers paradise... the NCAA is recruiting the same caliber of person to fit the NBA system....

If he wasn't such an asset to OSU, I'm sure his punishment would/should be stronger. In my opinion, the Big 12 dropped the ball here.

I know its coming so let me finish your comment for you Jigs, "But at Kansas State we recruit only the the hard working, clean cut kids, that are team players and we develop them into excellent players, no need for them overrated thugs."

I get a kick out of this forum. Sometimes it's the highlight of the day. Ya we rant in rave but I think in the end we all mean well. Some people don't have that competitive drive and love for sports, but it sure is fun. I didn't play all sports in school but what I did I think had a positive effect on the rest of my life. In my opinion you have to be competitive to survive this day in age in production agriculture.
 
I agree eatbeef. the love for a team runs deep in a soul, or not at all.....

the Manhattan thugs took it to the dirty birds from lowrents last night....

for you bonehead huskers who think I hate NU, you have no idea that my hate for KU runs much much deeper..... but then again, an ignorant KU basketball fan is nothing more than a Husker football fan with nothing to do in the winter, but cheer for KU bouncyball
