Well Mrs. Greg, some of it moved south last night--was raining on the border at 10PM when I went to bed- started in here just after 4AM-- been raining here all morning- mostly just a light mist- as I don't think we have over a 1/10th of an inch...
And it is a little nippy- temp is 45 and the wind has a little bite to it...

Sounds like the whole east coast is in a heat wave...I wonder if that effected Brown Bomber for why he didn't want to run yesterday :???:

Wish I'd had a few bets down on that winner...

Yep- Mrs. G is running around in her long handled woolies and Kola's in her birthday suit... I'll take the Mrs. G weather anyday- as I don't look good in birthday suits.....

I saw a pic of the hoof crack Big Brown had....it looked nasty and I'm surprised they ran him at all, but $$$$$ rules.

My ol' nags never got cracks that bad....and with all the supreme care these horses get it was odd that it got to that point.

Yeah, just got back from doing the ' house dog walkie' thing for Mom & Dad as they're gone today and the thermo said 93 and it's just a wee past lunch time. So by 4PM it should smack 99.9F easy.

There's not a single blade of hay standing in about a 4 county radius today with this hot weather....tractors been running for days on end now.!

"No comment "on the birthday suit!!!

Yuck...I'd be a puddle in that kind of weather...glad you're happy though

Still getting showers as this low circles over Montana, ND, Man, Sask, and Alberta...Misty all day- with showers just downpouring for a couple minutes every now and then...Picked up .3- which will keep the grass growing :) .....
Definitely not birthday suit weather as the highest I saw today was 55...

Still cold, and getting quite a thunderstorm, but hopefully not what our grandsons other GP's got, thier basement flooded badly,6inches in a small amount of time, crops totally gone because of the rain and the golf sized Hail.Lots of funnel clouds and a twister hit down about 20 miles from us.....

Keep that up north :(

Have now gotten over 6" of moisture so far and it is still coming down right now.
OT started raining last night around 10pm and has only quit a couple of times today.
Had a thunder storm go to the east of us.
I do wish it would warm up a bit and the clouds would lift for a few days, but I'm not going to knock the rain or cool weather.

Got kinda scary here for about an hour this afternoon,we were under a tornado warning and boy it didn't look nice, rained so hard one couldn't see outside at all,and pea sized hail, bad winds. Not too much damage out there other then lots of broken branches. The weathers moved North of us...

We picked up another .8 yesterday afternoon and last night...Puddles and mud everywhere...Luckily was able to sneak in the dry slot time period and get the wheat fields sprayed on Monday....
But the weather boys are saying it will start in again tonite- and rain thru til Friday with the possibility of another inch.....

I heard it was snowing this morning in Great Falls

Weather boys got it right-- started raining during the nite (coming down out of Canada) and been raining all morning- altho gauge only shows about 1/4 inch...But that makes over an inch the last couple days :)
Wind feels like it is blowing off an ice berg- temp only 39 degrees this morning.....BRRRRR...

Addition 2:45PM
Up to 1.25 of an inch....Now we even got a Flood Watch

...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR THE MILK RIVER IN VALLEY COUNTY..

.RECENT HEAVY RAINS ACROSS THE HIGHLINE WILL CAUSE DRAMATIC RISES IN
THE MILK RIVER IN VALLEY COUNTY. MOST AREAS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN
BELOW FLOOD STAGE...HOWEVER THE MILK RIVER NEAR GLASGOW IS FORECAST
TO RISE ABOVE FLOOD STAGE BY LATE SATURDAY EVENING. ALTHOUGH THERE
IS NO KNOWN PROPERTY IMPACTS AT THESE STAGES...PERSONS ARE ADVISED
TO TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT PROPERTY.

Sounds like north of you got a great rain. They are talking close to 4 inches. I think the sale in Mankota might be postponed until next week.

Yeah twice they got rains that went right along the border that looked on the radar like they hung in there and dumped...One of the reasons they got the flood watchs out for the lower Milk River- supposed to be lots of water coming in.....

Well it has been tallied and since the start of May we have gotten over 8" of moisture.
OT when I get back to my regular computor I will post some pics of the Highwood Mountains south of us. Pretty white on top.
Great Falls reported 7" of snow at the airport.
Did have a little fall on us, but it was quickly washed away in the rain.
Went from rain to snow to sleet to hail in about 30 minutes. Suppose to warm up today. That should get everything growing.

You got about double what we have in the same time period

Since its been raining every day- I haven't checked the pastures, cows, or bulls since last Thursday- so decided since it wasn't raining today to check out the home pasture....On the way north this afternoon- a severe storm warning came on the radio.... Got over in the pasture on the 4 wheeler (water standing in every pothole) - I had just found most the cows- and it looked like the bulls were fulfilling their task- and it started raining....

I was pretty soaked by the time I got back to the pickup...On the drive back toward town- it dumped rain all the way- and ever since its been one little storm after another coming thru.....Altho I never saw it- I heard some areas had quarter size hail- which I hope leaves us alone this year as the wheat and hay fields are looking great.....
