I know most of you can count 283 days and figure when a cow is due - - - but I'm lazy and I found a table that makes it easier!

This can be printed in black and white and is very easy to read.

Thanks to Doug Mayo of the Jackson County Florida Extention service for making my life just a little easier!

The only problem is it is 283 days gestation. I usually start getting calves around day 265-270. I am usually a third done before day 283 rolls around.

When I synced and AI-ed 30 head on one day, I found 21 days from start to finish on that breeding.....earlier calves lighter, later calves heavier. The actual day according to the AI calendar for due date....I had none, go figure!
