Been away a long time.

Its been a long time since I have had a chance to be on here. This year I am letting our pasture rest from the droughts and hard grazing I have put on them the past several years. I start do some weld for local folks around here and they have kept me busy. I have also got a call from the Texas Department of Agriculture they want me to apply for a position that came open in our area. This time I will have FULL benefits if I get it, my interview is Tuesday in Austin. So now I have to go and get a suit and ty and change in my blue jeans. My mom is still with us, the nurse comes out once a week to check on her and last week she said mom could last another 20 years health wise. but mind wise who knows. So we play it by ear from day to day. My three girls are growing like weeds. My oldest was a track star in Jr. high coming home with metals every week from a track meet. Her coach said she is rank 18th in state in the 800 meter. Not bad for her first year. The other two have been busy with riding horses around here, no rodeos yet. This spring a friend of my and I are putting on and outdoor music festival on the ranch. It will be to benefit our local schools and fire department for all the hard work they have do the past years with the wild fires. I have never done a music thing but I have a friend that has a music production business that is handling that in. I am just getting the pasture ready and getting some donations to help cover the cost. Looks like we will even have Cowboy Troy and several other Texas bands and one from Nashville. Right now its a one day deal but from everyone in the area they would like a two day deal. So who know right. Its not until Sept, 27 so we have time. Well I best hit the old welding rig up and finish up a back yard pipe fence. By the way dose Ranchers have a APP?
