During his CFL career, Flutie captured three Grey Cup Championships and was named the league's Most Outstanding Player an unprecedented six times. Flutie has been a winner everywhere he's played. He has a record of 37-28 (.569) as a starting quarterback in the NFL, including a mark of 22-9 (.710) in home games.
Being female,I look at what my sport heros do on and off thier playing fields,be it hockey, football, baseball etc. Flutie was great on the field, and is great off the field, him and his wife do alot for Autism, since thier son is autistic.
Same with my fav. hockey player,Mario Lemieux, kooky guys like NR,sauys Grets is better but Mario trumps in my book because of his play on and off the ice.
A great sport hero is one thats just as great OUT of his sport as he is IN it JMHO.
