Replacement heifers

If you are looking to raise replacement heifers and good cows- here is a list of a group of folks that raise cattle with that being their goal...

Not part of this group- But even before the group was formed these bloodlines were pretty much the direction we had decided to go with our cows to try and get rid of some problems and go back to the good old maternal angus cow...

I like this list for replacement females...

That list of breeders and others with their cattle will always be in demand. The mother cow is the factory. Good fertile, feminine cows raise good calves. In my opinion epds have blinded good cattle men's eyes.

Got to agree that EPD's have replaced cow sense. Everybody wants to or thinks it's possible to wean 900lb calves IF they can just find the right bull with high enough EPD's. Don't get me started. :wink:
