i've been hauling these boys 5 years and this has been their best rodeo weekend ever. Austin won the Saddle Bronc and Ty was second. Jessie won the bull riding and Landon was third. Ty placed second in bareback too. He's in second hole provincially in broncs and bareback. That pic is him on his third bareback horse ever-he got him covered but hung up bad-got hung up and dragged along the fence all down one side-he was banging off every post. just had time to untape and saddle his bronc then had to go again. I had a pretty happy van on the wauy home for sure.

Ohhh I just get them there and make them focus lol. There are somany guys that help them out-the contractor Cliff and Elaine Willick are great-Dan Bertsch helps the bareback riders and our roughstock rep Brent Moen is just awesome. Highschool rodeo is such a great experience-Landon and Austin are rookies to it but they are loving it. To be honest I have as much fun at those deals as the kids-alot of good people to visit with.

Tell them young men congratulations.I bet your tired after running with them young'uns all weekend. What does Ty do in his spare time he's a busy lad.

It is fun to watch the kids excell in a sport they love...Good job boys...

Tonite I was reading the western horseman magazine, and there was an article in it about 3 highschool boys that traveled the back country for 200 miles for 12 days with just horses and the stuff they packed...It reminded me of something that your boys might do Northern...not that they would, but from all that you post pictures of their adventures, I could see them doing something like that...Great kids and congrads to you too for being there and supporting them every step of the way.

High school rodeo kicked off the new season in New Mexico this past weekend --lots of new faces --fresh faced kids (most of them freshmen) with a mix of fear and high hopes behind the bucking chutes...the "veterans" (the seniors) looking a little more punchy --It was fun to sort them out -- It is so fun to watch them "grow" over their 4 years in high school --

He works for me in his spare time lol. Landon and his family actually trail ride to a local rodeo spend 2-3 nights getting there-we have never been able to go but they have a blast. These years go by quick so you have to make the most of it I think.
