I bet that is in the Paloose country in Washington state. Have you ever been there? The wheat grows almost up to the
front door on those farms. We thought it would be good cattle country too, but apparently it is very fertile soil and
grows a lot of wheat. It's pretty amazing where those combines go and quite a sight to see.

Agreed! But at the time, wheat brought in more $$$ per acre than cattle would. They have tremendous yields in
that country. Don't know how that is now. :D Think of planting all that back to grass.........YIKES! :D

It looks like some country we drove through a few years ago travelling from Riverton, WY to Dillon, MT, then on to Clarkson, WA, via LoLo Pass, to visit relatives. I believe is was like that again north of Lewiston, toward I-90, and then back east across MT and ND coming home visiting some friends in various places. Lots of pretty country I sure wouldn't want to live in. It is just rough enough for good cattle country where we are, thank you! I'm really a wimp about high places. I like to see them.....from a safe distance, preferably at the bottom of the mountain!
