All right Jigs and Sandhusker, Big 12 Media Days are now less than 2 weeks away and finally, we are on the downward slide to the start of football 8) Here are my Big 12 predictions, what say you?

Kansas - experienced offense
Nebraska - inexperienced QB and WR's
Missery
sCUm
Iowa St.
KSU

Texas
OU
Okie St.
Texas Tech
Baylor
AtM

NORTH:
Nebraska - Defense keeps us in every game. Back to smash-mouth running game with enough passing to keep the Ds honest

Kansas. Too many weapons on offense to count these guys out of any game.

Mizzou - Back to the usual Pinkel teams.

Colorado - Not that they'll be much good, just that the last two will be terrible.

Iowa St. - They'll beat K-St.

K - St. - A mess in Manhattan makes Jigs a sad boy. Cats go winless in the conf.

SOUTH
Oklahoma - These guys are good

Okie St. - Pickens dollars start to pay off

Texas - With that much talent, Jigs could coach them to a winning season

Baylor - As long as their QB stays healthy, he'll cause problems.

Tech - Breaking in too many new guys

A&M - Not ready to run with the big dogs.

I went with Tech 4th because those guys never rebuild, they just reload. How would you like to be Okie St? Any other conference with the butt load of talent they have they would be hands down favorite to win a championship and they are 3rd in the South...WOW.

I agree with you on Kansas. Colorado is a hard team to figure out. I really thought that last year would've been Hawkins break out season. Iowa St better win a few games this year because next year, OU, UT, and TT return to the schedule and in addition to the normal game with Iowa during the non-con schedule, ISU starts a home and home with Utah.

Missouri should take a step back and it's going to be funny to watch KSU struggle.

I'm taking a wait and see with the Husker Defense. No question they greatly improved last year and was lights out in the Gator Bowl, but Clemson's offense sucked and was more of a traditional offense than the high powered offenses in the Big 12.

now that the crack heads have tainted the thread, it is time for some common sense predictions.....

KSU wins national title after embarrasing OU in the Big 12 title game and taking the Crimson Tide out back for a good old country ash whoopin.
Bo Pelini calls Snyder an A-hole again, and winds up having a KSU helment surgicaly removed from his ash. Ironiclly a tattoo reading " sandhuskers love hole" is spotted during the surgery.

South
Okie Light. - I just think they may break through this year
OU - probably will win the south if OSU screws up
Texas Tech - toss up.....depends on which Red Raider teams shows up!
Baylor - seriously these guys are on the rise
Texas - all the money they throw at this team, very little results. need a real coach!
A&M - 2 conference wins?

North

KU - pains me to say it, but they may just do it
NU - obvious national title winners... IF you are a husker fan.
Mizzou - may slide into 2nd, but doubt it.
KSU - be prepared for a suprise out of Manhattan
ISU - they are headed in the right direction
CU - where they belong.

Our backfield is going to be the question. We've got big Suh causing problems on the line, Barry Turner back at end and, from what I'm hearing, a good batch of fast linebackers coming up. Pelini recruited well and redshirted almost everybody. If the backfield can shore up their busts, we'll be hard to move the ball against.

QB will need some breaking in, but they say he's faster than Ganz and has a better arm. If he gets hurt, there's not much behind him. Our RBs are studs. If the line is decent, we'll move the ball.

jigs, I dislike Texas as much as anybody but guarantee you they'll be in the championship fight all the way. If they get by OU they could be in the National Championship game. Loads of talent coming back and in the top 2-3 nationally in recruiting this year. Their 3rd team could beat half of the big 12.

they ALWAYS get a top recruiting class...but they have no coach to develope it into a decent team...Mack is a punk. even a dork like Sandhusker could walk into that pile of cash and talent and produce a 9 win season.
Of course KSU will still beat Texas !
