The SEC has been beating up on each other all year. When the conference is as competitive as it is this year, they cannot all be at the top in the national polls because of the inter-conference losses.

The polls are made by wins and losses totally, not just the out of conference games.

From top to bottom, there is not a conference that has as many bowl eligible teams. Out of 12 teams we will most likely have 11 that qualify.

With Iowa State, Missouri, and Buffs on the rise in the Big 12, and Nebraska falling so low, you'll see what I mean in a few years.

Look at it this way. The SEC has 9 teams in the BCS poll.

The Big 12 only has 4. :roll: :shock: :lol: :roll:

When a conference is more even from top to bottom. The more losses the inter-league teams will have. Simple math.......

When there are more losses within the league then they won't be ranked as high in the polls.

That is not an excuse, it's fact.

That's right. But they can't stay there. Kansas has to play Missouri yet. And the south has to play the north.

This is what I'm talking about when conference games effect the national rankings........................................
 
top to bottom, the SEC is probably the best conference, but I just hate to see you sound like a Big Eleven homer.

I guess using the Miks logic (distortion) NU, OU and CU didn't finnish 1,2 & 3 in "71"

If the big 12 had even half as many tv sets as the pac10 or SEC, it would be magically transformed into a football giant.
