Sale is Thursday at heartland livestock, around 500 breds.

I would imagine a lot of those bales will be heading south,and they won't be cheap!

If it's not a one owner sale it's not that big of a bred cow sale,last local bred cow sale here was just over 800 cows and sales are normally every 2nd week.

How did the herefords sell in the last sale?
They advertised 175 bred heifers that were destined to Khasakstan(sp) where the deal fell through.

All one owner , they split 500 to sell Thursday , supposed to be around 1000 total cows in the yards plus some calves. Hereford heifers I heard were from $1100-$1700.
