Thought you might want to see what we "saw" when we were all over the news last week...what a difference a week makes -- now it's sunny and 42 degrees, snow meltin fast.

If not for the black on that horse, I'm afraid he'd a been lost with the snow!! :P He was actually tucked inside the barn when I went and checked on them-- the other geldings braved the snow and wind to keep eating the bale that was out for them!! Oh I'm lookin forward to even seeing BROWN grass -- bare ground will do just fine...

Next time ya pray for a couple feet Empty, maybe highlight it on the map to make sure YOU get it instead!!??? 8)

Yuck!! Looks like what we got back in October and a lot of it is still here!!!
I don't envy you, but at least you don't have to look at it for the next 5 or more months like we did

Thanks for the pictures mtn. Like EP, we too would have liked to have that blizzard. Any moisture is most welcome West River, in both North and South Dakota. Again, the good ol' Missouri River is the dividing point on moisture  . Just think how nice the green grass will be, and how well the crops will grow.

Cheers---

TTB

YIKES mtn_90! Looks like heart attack weather to me! A few years ago we got the very same snow right after Christmas, had to walk 1/2 mi in it to get to the tractors (that's where the machine shed is), I thought I was gonna have a heart attack trying to walk through snow hip deep....took all day to clear paths to get to the feeding grounds, cows didn't come out of the trees to eat until the next day. When it melted it was wonderful, filled up the ponds until early summer and they dried up :?
