WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THURSDAY TO 6 PM MST
SATURDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
* TIMING...WINTER STORM COULD BEGIN AS EARLY AS THURSDAY
AFTERNOON AND LAST THROUGH SATURDAY.
* WINDS/VISIBILITY...WINDS OF 25 TO 40 MPH AND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH
ARE POSSIBLE WHICH COMBINED WITH HEAVY SNOW CAN REDUCE
VISIBILITY TO LESS THAN A QUARTER MILE AT TIMES.
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...10 TO 16 INCHES.
* OTHER IMPACTS...EAST TO NORTH WINDS WILL LEAD TO DRIFTING AND
BLOWING OF THE SNOW WHICH MAY RESULT IN HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. BITTER WIND
CHILLS FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY MAY LEAD TO FROSTBITE.

Sounds like much of the NW US and the northern plains could be effected by this storm...
The Montana Hi-Line, north of the Missouri is under a Blizzard Warning- much of the rest of the country under winter warnings and watchs....Sounds like this could be a nasty one...
I was hoping for a little snow- so the cows could have snow to eat if the creeks froze up--BUT this may be more than I wanted... :wink: Especially this early...
Been watching the clouds all day- few raindrops coming down now...
